I’ve been waiting to send this email.
Monday night the Minnesota legislature finally adjourned sine die and after months of fighting, late nights, emergency alerts, pressure campaigns and absolute chaos in St. Paul, I can finally tell you something I’ve wanted to say for a long time:
We won.
The anti-gun agenda they spent months trying to force through has been crushed!
S.F. 4067 has been defeated and with it goes the entire package the Democrats were trying to force through before adjournment.
The rifle bans are dead. The magazine bans are dead. The expanded Red Flag provisions are dead. The gun owner registration schemes are dead.
The entire 20-bill gun control agenda that anti-gun groups, media outlets, paid activists and anti-gun politicians spent months demanding is finished.
Frankly, I need you to understand something because too many gun owners never hear this after a fight is over — certainly not from the politicians.
You did this.
This is YOUR victory!
Over the last several months, Minnesota Gun Rights members buried St. Paul in pressure — because it is pressure that wins these fights.
You sent an avalanche of 115,000 emails into the legislature opposing gun control bills.
You answered emergency alerts. You shared our content online. You helped us fund pressure campaigns into targeted House districts and you stayed engaged all the way through the final days of session when the pressure became absolutely insane.
Think about what happened over the last couple weeks alone.
Democrats were threatening leadership over gun control votes. They staged sit-ins on the House floor. The gun control groups were screaming outside the House chamber. The media was demanding action and trying to create the narrative that “every Minnesotan wants gun control.”
And meanwhile, Minnesota Gun Rights members were hammering back.
The Left knew they needed just one Republican vote.
One vote would’ve changed everything and we’d be staring at rifle bans, magazine bans, registration schemes and a lot more.
Instead, they came up short and a lot of people deserve credit for helping hold the line — primarily the members and supporters of Minnesota Gun Rights.
But also, tremendous pro-gun Senators like Nathan Wesenberg, Bill Lieske and Michael Holmstrom worked hand in glove with MGR’s grassroots army to oppose this legislation.
In the House, Representatives like Drew Roach, Marj Fogelman and Tom Dippel were instrumental in whipping their caucus into opposing these bills as well.
And in the end, we won.
I’ve recorded a recap video breaking down what happened over the final days of session, how this all played out and where we go from here, and I want you to grab a beer or your favorite drink and watch it tonight.

Obviously this fight doesn’t end here — it just ends for now.
The Leftist tyrants who pushed this agenda are still in St Paul and they’re not suddenly becoming pro-gun overnight.
The August primaries are coming and the November elections are coming right behind them and that is where gun owners have an opportunity to pay back the politicians who fought for and against our gun rights.
And that’s not to mention our ongoing lawsuit against Tim Walz and Keith Ellison which we’ll have an update on very soon.
Minnesota Gun Rights is already preparing for the next leg of these battles and we’ll have a lot more to say about that very soon.
But before we move on to the next fight, I want you to do something.
Take a minute and enjoy this one. Seriously.
Pat yourself on the back because when the pressure was at its highest and the media, lobbyists and anti-gun organizations were convinced they finally had a path to force this agenda through, Minnesota gun owners stood up and said no.
Because of that, we just pulled off the biggest grassroots victory for freedom in Minnesota history.
And one last thing before I sign off.
If you’ve been standing on the sidelines and watching Minnesota Gun Rights members fight this battle from a distance, now is a good time to join us.
Victories like this don’t happen because politicians wake up one morning and decide to defend freedom. They happen because thousands of gun owners lock arms and fight back together.
