The Democrats are done waiting.
Fueled by the Democrats’ takeover and destruction of the Second Amendment in Virginia, Democrats in Congress are going all in with their plans to crush the Second Amendment!
Just days ago, United States Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner filed a 50+ page long gun control bill in Congress.
Their stated goal with this bill is to extend the gun control agenda passed in Virginia this year to the entire country.
Earlier this year, Virginia Democrats passed 9 monster gun control bills in just two months.
The damage these new laws inflicted on Virginia left the Second Amendment barely recognizable.
S. 4339 was filed to do the same thing to every gun owner in America — including us right here in Minnesota.

It’s important to understand that S. 4339 is not a standard single-issue gun control bill.
This bill is a sweeping, multi-pronged attack on the Second Amendment that stacks restrictions on top of restrictions until our rights are unrecognizable.
If you read this legislation, the truth will be undeniable: This bill has nothing to do with stopping crime.
It’s about disarming Americans for good.
While there are literally dozens of gun control provisions packed into this bill, there are ten sections that stand out:
►► An immediate ban on sales of the AR-15 and similar rifles
►► Criminalizing private firearm sales for good
►► Rationing handgun sales to one a month
►► Bribing states into passing ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’
►► Dictating how we can store firearms inside our homes
►► Banning homemade firearms, including 80% lowers
►► Stripping gun rights over misdemeanor offenses
►► Turning all hospitals and colleges into ‘Gun Free Zones’
►► Making it a crime to fail to report a lost gun within 2 days
►► Expanding who can be disarmed under the Lautenberg Gun Ban
Of course, we already have some of these laws on the books here in Minnesota. What has that gotten us?
While gun owners get prosecuted for selling a firearm to a friend without a background check, our state has plunged into a violent crime wave like we haven’t seen in decades.
Rapes. Homicides. Armed robberies. They are climbing to stratospheric levels because the criminals aren’t scared of us.
Even if they are caught, their charges are almost always pled down to misdemeanors, if they are prosecuted at all.
So please fill out your petition right away demanding a NO VOTE on S. 4339!
This didn’t happen by accident.
It was planned by the same Democrats who want to disarm us.
There was a time when they tried to deny that was their end-game. But those days are over. Now, we are in a zero-sum game — and the outcome will determine whether America remains a free country or not.
There is no question that Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith would vote to pass S. 4339. The real question is, will gun owners make it easy for them to do it?
Senate Democrats in Congress aren’t stupid. Pushing a bill like this — to disarm the American people — has the potential to cost them races in Georgia, Michigan, and New Hampshire.
If we shrug and tell ourselves that it doesn’t matter what we do here in Minnesota, we are making it easy on them.
But if we hammer our US Senators, we are telling them (and Senate Democrats in DC) that pushing this bill will lead to their candidates being crushed nationwide this fall.
That’s why Minnesota Gun Rights has launched a program to inundate our Senators with petitions, calls, and emails reminding them of the consequences of backing this bill.

Here’s what your financial support will be used for:
- Video Mobilization: MGR videos are regularly seen by 250,000 gun owners or more if we can afford to boost them. These videos give details on this bill in a way that’s easily shared, while containing links to pre-written emails.
- Texting Mobilization: Simply put, texting works. It allows MGR to inform gun owners about S. 4339 fast. And like our videos, these contain links to pre-written emails that go straight to the inbox of targeted politicians.
- Email Mobilization: MGR emails have a purpose. They update gun owners on where S. 4339 is in the process quickly, and contain links allowing gun owners to contact our Senators with a few mouse clicks. But we need to increase the size of this program to mobilize more people.
This program has one purpose: to tell Senate Democrats in Congress that their candidates (incumbents and challengers) will pay an extreme price if they support S. 4339.
But we must act fast. The first few weeks after a bill like this is filed are critical. It’s when co-sponsors add their names, or not. And Democrat leadership in the Senate is deciding whether to make this legislation a priority, or not.
So please do two things right away.
First, sign your petition immediately in defiance of S. 4339.

The Democrats in Congress — just like the Democrats here in St Paul — are never going to stop trying to disarm us. This is a zero-sum game. We either dig in and stop this bill, or see our entire country disarmed bit by bit.
And history shows what happens to a disarmed population.

This is the Democrat Party’s plan for us. It’s always been their plan. The only difference is they are now admitting it.
