In just a few days, the 2022 session of Congress and the Minnesota State Legislature will be kicking off and gun owners like you and me are going to be in the fight of our lives!
I have been working for days, talking with my team and insiders as we finalize our legislative goals for the year, along with finalizing the budget we will need to be effective.
But I have to tell you, I’ve made these battle plans at the end of the year for many years now on behalf of Minnesota Gun Rights — and this year it’s different.
That’s because Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Governor Walz, Senator Ron Latz, and our DFL-controlled Minnesota House have declared open warfare against our Second Amendment and gun owners like you and me.
The session that is about to kick off in St. Paul will be unlike anything we have faced here in Minnesota – even worse than previous years.
Kathryn, allow me to be blunt. Without your action, I’m afraid that gun owners may lose significant Second Amendment freedoms during the upcoming session.
That’s why I am writing you today.
You see, I have to make a very difficult decision about where to focus our resources in this upcoming legislative session. And since this has always been a member-driven organization, I would greatly covet your advice on how to proceed.
That’s why I have prepared your 2022 Minnesota Gun Rights Membership Directive, so I can hear from you, firsthand. I’m counting on you to read this update and complete your directive RIGHT AWAY!
The fact is, without an IMMEDIATE infusion of funds to work with, I am afraid that we are going to have to make immediate cuts in our 2022 program — at a time when we need to fight harder than ever before!
You see, Governor Walz is furious with gun owners after stopping his attacks on the Second Amendment over the last two years and he’s already announced in a recent campaign video that passing gun control is a major priority for the 2022 legislative session.
The first bill Tim Walz insists on passing is H.F.649/S.F.849, Statewide Gun Registration under so-called Universal Background Checks.
Don’t be fooled for a second by the spin from the lying media and politicians in St. Paul — these ‘harmless background checks’ are gun registrations and will only lead to gun CONFISCATION, which is their ultimate goal.
As we know, the ONLY way to enforce such a “universal background check” scheme in the first place is by building a statewide or federal database of gun owners which Walz has been working on ever since he took office.
The second is H.F.1654/S.F.1431, the massive ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ bill that would enact New York-style gun confiscation laws across the state, empowering liberal judges to disarm Minnesotans who have never set foot in court, let alone been convicted of a crime.
Passage of these two bills in our state has been Michael Bloomberg’s number one goal for Minnesota and he expects Tim Walz and our DFL House to deliver as payment for the elections cash he poured into Minnesota in 2020 and soon in 2022!
But it gets worse.
You see, Republican Senate Judiciary Chairman Warren Limmer has flat out told the media that 2022 is the year that the Minnesota Senate can take up these public “policy reforms.”
Don’t forget that Chairman Limmer has held hearings on gun control bills in the past and is the ONLY Republican to vote NO on Constitutional Carry when we got a vote in 2015.
Even worse, several past Republican Senators have supported passage of similar legislation and only withdrew their support once they heard from thousands of MGR members.
Either way, you look at it, this is going to be a MAJOR FIGHT.
But we’re also going to be facing one hell of a fight in Washington, D.C. this year, too.
As we’ve been saying, the leftist machine that is running Joe Biden in D.C. knows that they are likely going to lose control of the House, Senate or both when ‘We the People’ head to the polls next year. So they are going ‘all in’ on gun control.
And while there are plenty of bills that Biden and Pelosi would like to pass, there are two bills at the absolute top of their list because of the devastating harm they would do.
First is H.R. 8, the ‘National Background Check’ legislation that has already passed Pelosi’s House and that would require gun owners to obtain government permission each time they try to buy a firearm.
The real reason why Biden and Pelosi want to pass H.R. 8 is to give the federal government a list of every gun owner in America, while making felons out of Americans who don’t comply.
Second is H.R. 2377, the massive ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ bill that would enact due process-shredding gun confiscation laws across the country, empowering far-Left judges to disarm Americans who never got a day in court, let alone been convicted of a crime.
These two bills are similar to the Minnesota legislation that I mentioned above, and both are equally dangerous.
What makes both of these bills so dangerous (besides the harm they would do to our gun rights) is the fact that a growing number of RINO Republicans are already supporting BOTH OF THEM!
When Nancy Pelosi passed H.R. 8 out of the House, a dozen Republicans joined her in voting for this garbage. And over the last two years, Republican Senators like Rob Portman, Pat Toomey, Lindsay Graham, Susan Collins, Mitt Romney and others have come out in support of a national registry of gun owners!
And while Nancy Pelosi is leading the charge for ‘Red Flag’ laws in the House, in the Senate, Republican Marco Rubio is the LEAD SPONSOR on ‘Red Flag’ legislation and over a half-dozen other Republicans have already come out in support of the idea.
So while we have held the line against these bills in the Senate so far, you can bet that these RINO traitors will be lining up to betray us if we have a mass shooting incident anywhere in America this year.
But before you do, please don’t forget that 2022 is an absolutely critical election year as well.
Gun-grabbers in Minnesota are desperate to DESTROY our gun rights, seize control of the Senate and expand their State House majority to continue their agenda of turning Minnesota into a socialist hellhole that Biden would be proud of.
But I promise you that I’m going to fight like hell to make sure those America-hating leftists don’t get their way and destroy our state!
In fact, I’m preparing to run the biggest and nastiest election year program in the history of MGR.
Over the last decade, Minnesota Gun Rights has become the most FEARED force in all of state politics and our efforts to expose anti-gun politicians has become the stuff of legends!
That’s not because we play buddy-buddy with legislators and cozy up to them until they like us, like some organizations do.
It’s because they HATE us.
That’s because time and time again, the members of Minnesota Gun Rights have risen up and destroyed their plans of gutting our Second Amendment freedom.
And it’s because every legislator knows that if they try to betray us, we’ll make sure every gun owner in their district knows what they did at election time.
And politicians know when election time rolls around, they will be held accountable for EVERY vote they take.
Don’t forget, both the House, Senate AND Governor are up for election in 2022, meaning this is our opportunity to deal some major political blows against the TYRANTS who’ve spent the last several years attacking your freedom!
On the other hand, anti-gun activists are certain to try to seize the same opportunity to expand their anti-gun influence in St Paul and D.C.
My goal is to go on the attack ahead of both the 2022 primaries and General Election to ensure that every anti-gun member of our State Legislature in BOTH parties is exposed and that Tim Walz feels the HEAT for what he’s done to us all.
I’ll use every tool at my disposal from mail and email to social media, to hard-hitting radio, door-to-door lit drops, newspaper and even TV ads if I can raise the money to do it.
Such a program is going to be very expensive.
But it could not be more important — not since BILLIONAIRE gun-grabbers like Michael Bloomberg are dumping MILLIONS of dollars into Minnesota to force their anti-American agenda down our throats.
I’m sure you can see why I’m so torn.
There just aren’t any easy options, as both stopping the Biden/Walz gun control agenda and working to expose anti-gun candidates in the 2022 elections deserve our utmost attention.
But I have to face facts. And as it stands today, I just don’t have the ability to run a full-scale program to stop Governor Walz’ AND Joe Biden’s gun control agendas while also running an extremely necessary election program.
That’s why I’m counting on you to please complete your Minnesota Gun Rights Membership Directive and tell me where to focus.
Of course, when you do so, you’ll notice that I have included another option on your membership directive — an option that we haven’t talked about yet, because implementing it would require a major influx of funds.
Nevertheless, it’s the option that I am secretly hoping you will choose.
But please note that if you select this option, I need you to dig deep and make a sizeable investment in the Second Amendment battle, to help MGR put this plan into action.
I simply can’t afford to run these programs simultaneously without it. In fact, without considerable help from gun owners like you, running even ONE of these programs at the scale they would need to be run without immediate assistance will be very tough.
Gun-grabbers here in St. Paul and in Washington D.C. have declared WAR on law abiding gun owners in Minnesota — and they are fighting to destroy everything we love.
Gun owners like you and me must draw a line in the sand and get ready for the fight of our lives in 2022!
Our freedom, our way of life, and our very ability to defend ourselves and our loved ones here in Minnesota is on the line in way we’ve never seen before.
That’s why my hope is that after you’ve completed your Membership Directive, you will agree to a generous gift of $100 right away.

But to fight back and stop Biden and Walz’ attacks — not to mention preparing for a massive elections program — we need to mobilize more gun owners than ever before! Losing simply isn’t an option.

With the 2022 legislative session and Congress kicking off soon, I need to make some very difficult decisions about where to focus our efforts this year.
Without a massive influx of funds, I simply can’t stop the massive gun control freight train that is coming down the tracks in St. Paul and D.C.
Governor Walz and Joe Biden have made it clear that passing a massive gun control bill is their TOP PRIORITY IN 2022.
We know part of that agenda includes both ‘Universal Background Checks’ (aka a national registry of gun owners) and passing ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ legislation!
At the same time, the 2022 elections are coming up fast and it’s our best opportunity to get our pound of flesh from anti-gun lawmakers running for reelection.
