Radical anti-gun politicians, including some in the House GOP, are at it again – and this time they’re going after something that should alarm every Minnesotan.
They’re pushing:
👉 H.F. 3762 – a dangerous bill that would allow law enforcement to dig up expunged records and use them to block your right to own or carry a firearm.
Let that sink in.
Expunged means erased. Cleared. Gone.
But under H.F. 3762, the government would still be able to:
- Reopen those records
- Use them against you
- Deny your constitutional rights anyway
This is the same playbook we’ve seen over and over again:
They’ll tell you it’s about “safety,” but we all know the truth.
Criminals don’t care about background checks.
They don’t care about expungement laws.
They don’t care about gun laws – period.
This bill does NOTHING to stop violent crime!
It ONLY gives government more power to deny rights to people who have already paid their dues and had their records cleared.
